This is the Batman poster I have on my wall today. Completely hand-drawn in the familiar paint and pencil style, it represents a contemporary take on the genre and is something that would have blown me away in 1989. With a few nods to the most-excellent 35th anniversary poster by Paul Shipper, I have built a composition based on overlapping triangles, both right side up and inverted.

This poster was a blast to draw and it was hard to finish it up. I just wanted the good times and the memories to continue… As a result probably far too much time was spent on the clouds!
