Close Encounters - Version 1

When I first thought up this composition it seemed simple, succint, symbolic and surely would have been drawn by someone else at some point. Maybe it was even an official poster composition for the film back in ‘77. But when I was researching existing posters (official and alternative) it seemed no-one had ever drawn the UFO as an other-worldly halo over Dreyfuss. If someone else has drawn it, well, I haven’t seen it. So here is my version in paint and coloured pencil!
