JAWS

I wanted to reimagine the original JAWS film and book cover artwork by Roger Kastel. The composition is rather similar albeit I’ve skewed the symmetry of the original and aimed to make the shark more terrifying as it twists and races to devour its prey. To achieve this I have used a raw, painterly style with a darker, more brooding palette. Rather than portray the first victim of the story, I have instead captured the second.
